§ 23-1. Short title; adoption of Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways.

This chapter may be known and cited as the Traffic Code.

All provisions of the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways, as now in effect in the state and generally referred to as V.T.C.A., Transportation Code § 541.001 et seq., including all amendments to such statute as of this date, is hereby adopted and is supplemented by the regulations set forth in this chapter.
