§ 23-26. Same—Schedule for certain public streets and ways.

Upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation heretofore made as authorized by the provisions of V.T.C.A., Transportation Code §§ 545.353, 545.357, 545.355 et seq., the following prima facie speed limits are hereafter indicated for vehicles and are hereby determined and declared to be reasonable and safe; and such speed limits are hereby fixed at the rate of speed indicated for vehicles traveling upon the named public streets and highways, or parts thereof, of the city, said speed limit to be in force and effect unless otherwise limited as prescribed by the provisions of this article. The streets and highways hereby regulated, and the maximum prima facie speed limits thereof, are as follows:
