§ 2-1. Election officials' compensation.

All municipal elections shall be conducted by one presiding judge and two assistant judges or clerks to be appointed by the mayor. The presiding officer and assistant judges or clerks shall be compensated at the rates presently established as the maximum rates under the state election code, which services shall be paid from the general fund of the city.
