§ 8.01. Platting of property.

(a)

Hereafter, every owner of any tract of land situated within the corporate limits of the City of Grapevine, Texas, who may divide the same in two or more parts for the purpose of laying out any subdivision or any addition to the City, shall comply with the provisions of V.T.C.A., Local Government Code § 212.00 et seq., as now or hereafter amended, and said Section 212.00, as now or hereafter amended, is hereby adopted and incorporated herein for all purposes.

(b)

The provision of section 8.01(a) shall apply similarly to the owner of any tract of land situated within the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction of the city in accordance with V.T.C.A., Local Government Code § 242.001.
